MINORS (UNDER THE AGE OF 18)

• Application Type M121

This kind of application is submitted for the issuance of a consular birth certificate. It can be submitted by minors or adults who were born abroad after the 16^th of August 1960 and whose father at the time of their birth was a Cypriot citizen, and by individuals born after the 11^th of June 1999, whose mother was a Cypriot citizen at the time of their birth.

• Application Type M126

This kind of application is submitted for the registration of minors. It can be submitted for minors, who were born prior to the 11^th of June 1999 in Cyprus or abroad and whose mother is a Cypriot citizen and father a foreigner or for minors whose father acquired the Cypriot citizenship after their birth.

Additionally the application can be submitted for minors, whose father or mother acquired the Cypriot citizenship by naturalization or by registration due to marriage with a Cypriot citizen.

 

ADULTS (ABOVE THE AGE 18)

• Application Type M71

This application can be submitted by persons born prior to the 16^th of August 1960, who are citizens of the United Kingdom and its former colonies, who originate from Cyprus from the male side and reside permanently abroad.

• Application Type M72

This application can be submitted by persons born prior to the 16^th of August 1960, who are not citizens of the United Kingdom and its former colonies and who originate from Cyprus from the male side.

• Application Type M123

This application can be submitted by adults who were born on the 16^th of August 1960 or after and none of their parents at the date of their birth was a Cypriot citizen.

Additionally it can be submitted by adults who were born after the 16^th of August 1960 and originate from a person, who became a British citizen based on the Annexation of Cyprus Orders in Council 1914 to 1943 or a person born in Cyprus after the 5^th of November 1914 and prior to the 16^th of August 1960.

• Application Type M124

This application can be submitted by adults of Cypriot origins, who were born either before or after the 16^th of August 1960 and are British citizens or citizens of any State of the Commonwealth and have completed one year of legal residence in the Republic.
